It is exactly three years to the day since Juventus faced Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Real Madrid got off to the perfect start as Cristiano Ronaldo put Real Madrid ahead after 20 minutes. Mario Mandzukic then levelled for the Italians with a fine acrobatic effort seven minutes later, but the Spanish side were too good in the second half.
Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo struck in the 61st and 64th minutes respectively to put Real 1-3 up and then Marco Asensio completed the job minutes from the end, Juve's frustration got the better of them and Cuadrado was sent off late on as the La Liga side won their second consecutive Champions League.
