In January 2017, Monaco travelled to the south of France to face Marseille on matchday 20 of the 2016/17 Ligue 1 season.
Thomas Lemar put Monaco ahead in the 15th minute before Falcao made it 0-2 six minutes later. Rolando halved the deficit after 28 minutes, but Bernardo Silva restored Monaco's two goal advantage right on the stroke of half-time. The Portuguese, who now plays for Man City, bagged a second in the 56th minute to seal the 1-4 victory and send Monaco top.
