Barca faced Real Sociedad in the first semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday night in Cordoba.
Koeman's men took the lead through Frenkie de Jong's header on 39 minutes, but in the second half, he gave away a penalty for handball and Mikel Oyarzabal levelled the scores in the 51st minute. It remained 1-1 after extra time and Barca GK Marc-Andre ter Stegen was the hero in the shootout.
He saved three penalties from Jon Bautista, Mikel Oyarzabal and Willian Jose and Riqui Puig's decisive penalty gave Barca a 3-2 win. Ter Stegen made some fantastic saves during the 120 minutes of play prior to tghe shootout and you can take a look at some of them in the video above!
