England beat Switzerland 2-1 at Wembley on Saturday evening. The match was an international friendly in preparation for this year's World Cup.
Gareth Southgate used this round of international matches to call up a number of less than usual faces to the England squad. However, usual captain Harry Kane was present and started the match against the Swiss. He has been a prolific goal scorer for his country and he found himself on the scoresheet yet again after converting from the spot on Saturday.
This was the winning goal of the game and also meant that Kane has now equalled Sir Bobby Charlton's England goalscoring record of 49 goals. Have a listen to Southgate's thoughts on this in the video here!
