The 35-year-old has made over 600 appearances for the Glasgwegian side, and has been one of the first names on the team sheet in almost every season he has played, eventually becoming club captain for the 'Hoops'.
This last season has certainly been a disappointing one, as Celtic cede their domination in the SPL to Steven Gerrard's far superior Rangers, their arch rivals. The two sides are separated between first and second place by a whopping twenty points, as the blue side of Glasgow aim for an unbeaten 2020/21 league season.
