In September 2014, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest met in the Capital One Cup third round at White Hart Lane.
Forest took the lead in the 61st minute through Jorge Grant before Pochettino's men fought back. Ryan Mason, whose career sadly ended in 2017 after a head clash with Gary Cahill, made it 1-1 in the 72nd minute with a lovely long range effort. Roberto Soldado then put Spurs ahead seven minutes from the end and Harry Kane sealed the victory in added time.
