VIDEO: Robert Lewandowski gets his 40th goal of 2019-20

Back on 17th May, Bayern Munich travelled to East Berlin to take on Union Berlin at an empty an der alten Forsterei stadium. It was both team's first game back after the coroanvirus stoppage. 

Union Berlin started the game well, but Lewandowski hit the crossbar with a powerful strike from a corner. After Muller had had a goal ruled out by VAR, Lewandowski scored his 40th goal of the season in all competitions. Subotic fouled Goretzka just before half-time and Lewandowski made no mistake from the spot. Pavard sealed the three points with a header 10 minutes from time.
