La Liga has been one of the leagues affected by the coronavirus break. There have been no matches in the competition since 8th March, but a potential return on 12th June became closer to reality this Monday.
The Spanish authorities have given permission for group training to get back underway and so after a week of individual training, Real Madrid began training in groups of ten. Luka Jovic and Mariano are training away from the rest of the squad as they are recovering from injuries. In the Serbian's case, he suffered it while at home during the lockdown period.
Real Madrid's last game was a 2-1 loss at Real Betis and they are second on 56 points, two behind Barca. Their first match back will be at home to Eibar.
