The Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, received his doctorate from the University of Manchester on Thursday 7th October at a special ceremony at Old Trafford.
The honorary award is for his still ongoing charity work against child poverty in England, as well as his sporting achievements on the football pitch.
At the age of 23, Rashford is the youngest recipient of the highest honour in the history of The University of Manchester.
