AC Milan made the signing of Christian Pulisic official on Thursday. The American attacker has arrived from Chelsea for 20 million euros and has signed for four seasons, that is, until 30th June 2027.
The 24-year-old will take No. 11 and told his current club's press that it is a special shirt for him. "It's a number I like. I know that a legend in the form of Ibrahimovic wore it, and it's a fantastic opportunity for me," he said.
"I don't want to compare myself to Ibra or fill the void left by such a great champion, but it was free and I chose it. We have a very strong and competitive attack. In general, the team is full of talent. I'll try to make a contribution in attack.
"I've often played out wide, especially on the right flank, but I can also cover other positions, like the attacking playmaker role. I'm a particularly strong dribbler, which helps me provide assists and score. It'll be a pleasure to have Leao as a teammate; he's just incredible."
