Inter Milan are at home to Sampdoria on Sunday night in both club's first game back since the COVID-19 stoppage. It is a make up game after the fixture was postponed at the end of February. The same game last season was played in February 2019 and on matchday 24 of the 2018/19 Serie A campaign.
It was 0-0 until the 73rd minute at the San Siro and then there was a flurry of goals. D'Ambrosio gave Inter the lead, but Gabbiadini drew Sampdoria level in the 76th minute. Two minutes later, Radja Nainggolan scored to give Inter the three points. A corner was half-cleared to the Belgian just outside the box and his shot into the ground beat the goalie. Inter were third on 46 points after the win while Sampdoria dropped to 10th on 33 points.
