Matchday three of the K-League continued on Sunday as Jeonbuk faced Daegu at the Jeonju World Cup stadium.
It was goalless at half-time before Brazilian midfielder Murilo put Jeonbuk ahead in the 47th minute with a superb individual goal. He beat two defenders before charging into the box and firing home with his left foot. This is the 25 year-old's first season in South Korea after moving from Botafogo. Cho Kyu-Sung then sealed the win 20 minutes from time for the hosts.
The defending champions are now top of the tree with maximum points from three games while Daegu are ninth with two points. Jeonbuk travel to Gangwon on Saturday while Daegu host Sangju Sangmu on Friday.
