The Bundesliga returns on Saturday after a break of over two months due to the coronavirus pandemic and on March 8th, the final weekend before the stoppage, Bayern Munich hosted Augsburg.
It was 0-0 at half-time, but then Bayern got the job done in the second half of the Bavarian derby. Thomas Muller scored a lovely volley eight minutes after the interval and then Leon Goretzka sealed the points in the 91st minute to give Hansi Flick's a 2-0 win.
Bayern Munich are top of the Bundesliga with 55 points, four ahead of Dortmund while Augsburg are in 14th on 27 points, five clear of the relegation play-off spot. Check out Thomas Muller's goal from the Augsburg match in the video below!
