Bernardo Silva scored twice as Manchester City beat Newcastle 2-0 at home in the FA Cup quarter-finals to seal their place in the next round of the competition.
"The way he controls games, he’s so intelligent. He’s a pleasure to play with. A pleasure - one of the best players I’ve ever played with," Phil Foden said of his Portuguese teammate.
The England right winger is in the spotlight due to the good season he is having after scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists in 42 competitive games for the Sky Blues.
"The more I play, the more I feel comfortable and the more fitness I feel. I’m delighted with the minutes I’m playing, and I want to continue to play and try and help the team as much as possible. I’ve grown as a player - playing with the best players in the world and keep getting better in training," he told reporters.
"I still think there’s a lot more to my game that I can improve - I think I can go even better and I’m going to keep working hard on the training pitch and try to show that in the games," Foden concluded.
