The Austrian opened the scoring after just 21 minutes, giving the home side a lead which they took into half time. They then doubled their advantage ten minutes into the second half with a strike from Georgian striker Vako.
With Ulsan Hyundai grabbing all three points, they hold onto second spot in the K League, just three points behind Jeonbuk Motors in first place. Gwangju sip down to ninth, in a relegation zone where only six points separate seventh from twelth.
