Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol were signed by Manchester City in the summer transfer window to strengthen both the defence and midfield.
Both Croatian players were interviewed by their current club's press to talk about their new lives at the Etihad Stadium. They were asked about their coach Pep Guardiola, among other topics.
"Now it feels nice [to be coached by Pep]. Before, not much so because to play against them was always tough. City's always well-organised and keeping possession well, so many talented players, so it was always tough to play against them," Kovacic said.
"But now to be part of it is really a pleasure and to see the manager, how he wants us to play, it's really a unique style, I think. And now we need to both adapt. I think we are doing our best in training to understand and it's really nice to be part of it."
Gvardiol also spoke about his new coach and his adaptation period: "Good. I have to say the same. It will take time, as I told you many times, a couple of times, that we just need time to learn all these things and, yeah, it will come. It will come."
