Tottenham are getting closer to their most realistic version. In the absence of the market shaping the squad, Nuno has already brought together Dele Alli, Son Heung-Min, Lucas Moura and Bergwijn in attack, big names while waiting for Kane to return from his holiday.
Spurs beat Colchester United 3-0 in a match in which, from early on, they took the lead. Son, on a pass from Moura, opened the scoring in the 11th minute. The festival of the '7' began. It didn't take long for the two men to swap roles for the 0-2 lead. In the 14th minute, a corner taken by the Korean was headed in at the near post by the Brazilian to put the game back on track.
Before half-time, Dele Alli made it 0-3 and the game was all but over. Once again Son appeared to put a ball into the box from the right that was finished by the Englishman, with the help of a defender, to close out a game that would have no more goals.
