Japanese midfielder Gaku Shibasaki scored his first goal for Leganés as they beat Real Oviedo 2-1 in the Spanish second tier last Sunday at Butarque.

Leganes faced Oviedo in a Segunda Division clash last Sunday and it was a special day for one Leganes player.

Japenese midfielder Gaku Shibasaki, formerly of Kashima Antlers, Tenerife and Deportivo, moved to Leganes in the summer after Depor were relegated to the third tier. The 28 year-old got his first goal for his new club in the 61st minute to put Lega ahead. Borja Baston made it two in the 87th minute and despite Samuel Obeng's 93rd minute goal, Leganes got the three points. Have a listen to Shibasaki's comments post game in the video above!
