Dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong has become one of the first names on the Barca teamsheet since his arrival from Ajax in 2019 - check out his progress here!
De Jong featured heavily in Barca's 2019/20 side, making 45 appearances under a combination of Ernesto Valverde and Quique Setien at the helm.
However, it appears that the arrival of his compatriot Ronald Koeman was all that he needed to develop his game, especially in terms of goal contribution. This season he has registered an impressive seven goals alongside seven assists, and Koeman has relied on him in a number of positions.
Barca will be hoping that can count on their young starlet in Thursday's game against Getafe. The Catalan side need all three points if they want to seriously compete for the La Liga title, currently sitting in fourth place after Sevilla's win against Levante put them third.
