The Eredivisie season was cancelled in April after being suspended in the middle of March due to the coronavirus. There was still the opportunity for some quality matches during the 2019-20 campaign though.
On Matchday 9, Fortuna Sittard faced Feyenoord at the Fortuna Sittard Stadion. Amadou Ciss gave the home side a shock lead after two minutes before Haps levelled the scores after 27 minutes. Ciss then bagged his second seven minutes later to make it 2-1 and just before the interval, Sittard were in dreamland when Cian Harries gave the hosts a two goal lead.
Feyenoord were clearly shaken by the third goal and conceded again seconds after the second half began. Bassala Sambou put Sittard 4-1 ahead to kill off the contest. There was time for Berghuis to get a consolation, but Sittard went home with the three points. Watch the highlights above!
