Moussa Sissoko has signed a two-year contract with Nantes for a reported £1.8 million (2.08 million euros).
The 32-year-old joins Nantes from recently relegated Watford, ending the midfielder's nine-year stay in English football, after signing for Watford from Tottenham at the start of last season. The Frenchman was unable to stop the Hornets from suffering relegation from the Premier League. The veteran has has made 71 international appearances for France and has experience at the highest level, even reaching a Champions League final with Spurs in 2019.
Nantes will play in European competition next season for the first time since 2004 and Sissoko will hope to use his experience to guide them deep into the competition.
