La Liga has been one of the leagues affected by the coronavirus break. There have been no matches in the competition since 8th March and the action could resume on 12th June.
The Spanish authorities gave permission for individual training to get back underway last week. Now, after a week's training, La Liga clubs such as Espanyol are allowed to train in groups. Despite the city of Barcelona still being in phase 0 of Spain's lockdown, La Liga clubs have been given permission to train in groups of no more than 10 people.
Espanyol's last game was a 1-0 loss at Osasuna and they are bottom on 20 points, six points off safety. Their first match back will be at home to Alaves.
