Former-Arsenal boss Unai Emery will return to the Emirates on Thursday with his Villarreal side hoping to progress to the Europa League final - check out what he had to say about it here!
Emery's side unfortunately lacked a clinical edge in the first leg to kill the tie off. Having gone 2-0 up after 29 minutes thanks to goals from Trigueros and Raul Albiol, Arsenal were then reduced to ten men after 57 minutes when Dani Ceballos picked up his second yellow of the match. From this point, Arsenal managed to convert a penalty on 73 minutes through Pepe, making it 2-1 on the night and giving Arteta's men an all-important away goal.
Despite Villarreal's slim advantage, it will certainly be all to play for on Thursday night, as both side's battle it out for a final which will most likely feature Manchester United.
