The 2015-16 season was a good season for Crystal Palace. It was a case of job done in the Premier League as Alan Pardew's men finished 15th, five points clear of the drop zone.
They also had a tremendous FA Cup run as they reached the FA Cup final against Man Utd. Despite taking the lead with 12 minutes left, Juan Mata quickly drew United level before Lingard won it for Van Gaal's men in extra time. In the League Cup, the Eagles were knocked out in the fourth round by Man City.
