Club America were victorious against Portland Timbers in the Concacaf Champions League quarter-finals on Thursday - check out their win here!
On the day, Uruguayan striker Viñas scored a brace for the home side. His first goal came after 21 minutes, before his second came via the penalty spot just before the hour mark. Portland Timbers pulled one back through a penalty of their own just four minutes later, scored by Valeri. But America killed the game off after Suarez's strike in the 70th minute, securing a 3-1 victory and a 4-2 result on aggregate.
Following this victory, America will go on to play Philadelphia Union in the semi-finals of the competition, before which attention turns domestic duties - where they currently sit second in the Mexican first division, three points off Cruz Azul.
