Marseille travelled to Nimes for a Ligue 1 fixture back on Friday night. 

After a goalless first half at the Costieres Stadium, the visitors took the lead 12 minutes into the second half through former Boca Juniors striker Dario Benedetto. Andres Cubas was given a red card for Nimes 13 minutes from time and Valere Germain sealed the points for Andre Villas-Boas' men when he scored six minutes from the end.
