Barracas Central hosted Union at the Estadio Islas Malvinas on Wednesday. The two teams battled it out on matchday 3 of the Argentine Primera Division season.
It was Union who took all three points from the game after the final whistle. The visitors got off to a flying start in the first half as Jonathan Alvez and Emanuel Britez scored in the 10th and 14th miuntes. In the second half, Barracas managed to pull a goal back via a Carlos Valenzuela penalty. However, it was not enough to avoid defeat.
The result means Barracas Central now sit in 24th place, while Union are in 10th on four points.
