We take you back to the 1983 Copa del Rey final between Barcelona and Real Madrid from the La Romareda Stadium in Zaragoza. It was an Argentine duel on the benches as Cesar Menotti of Barca was up against Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano.
There were no goals in the first half an hour, but then Barca took the lead in the 32nd minute through Victor Munoz. Real Madrid drew level five minutes into the second half through Santillana, but then Marcos Alonso got a last minute winner for the Catalans outfit as extra time was looming.
That was Barcelona's 20th ever Copa del Rey trophy and they claimed it against the defending champions. Take a look at the highlights from the game above!
