On 9th April 2011, Saint-Etienne travelled to the Stade Abbe Deschamps to face Auxerre for a Ligue 1 clash. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was playing for the 'Les Verts' at the time.
The game was a four goal thriller which ended with the points being shared. The visitors broke the deadlock in the 27th minute as Riviere netted. However, Oliech drew the home side level just before half time. In the second half, it was Saint-Etienne who got their noses in front once again as Aubameyang found the back of the net. Eight minutes later, Dudka scored from the spot for Auxerre, and the game finished 2-2.
