Emmanuel Adebayor moved to Monaco in 2003 from Metz at the age of 20.
The Togolese striker was at the club for two and a half seasons before moving to Arsenal in 2006. The now 36 year-old made 115 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, scored 26 goals and gave three assists. He was part of the side which reached the 2004 Champions League final which got beaten 3-0 in Gelsenkirchen by Jose Mourinho's Porto.
