Vardy struck on the counter to give Leicester the lead

Leicester are gaining a reputation for being one of the Premier League's best counter-attacking sides and they showed why on Saturday as they cut Manchester United to ribbons on the break to go 1-0 up.

After winning the ball back deep in their own half, Leicester sprang.

Vardy played the ball back to Wilfred Ndidi and he set Riyad Mahrez scampering away over the top.

The Algerian intelligently held onto the ball for just long enough for Vardy to re-join the attack before putting his team-mate in and the England international made no mistake, slotting home left-footed from 10 yards.
