Real Madrid player Raphaël Varane spoke to the official media of the club and didn't hesitate in praising his teammates for having a great match against Inter Milan.

Varane was the Real Madrid captain in the match against Inter Milan, corresponding to matchday 4 of the Champions League group stages: "It was a complete game of the whole team. We defended well, with a very good attitude and the collective was the key. We managed the match well, being in control. It was crucial and we did it well".

"We were aware that we had to be solid and run together. We fought and were all focused, and with this attitude we are a very good team. We have to have that confidence that when we fight together we are strong".

Keys

"We needed everyone to be involved and focused on what we do. A supportive team has been seen, with this attitude we can have a good season. "The merit is the collective, we left few spaces and solid states. We are going to continue working like this because the calendar is very complicated and we are going to need everyone. We are better, but we have to keep on working match by match until the end".

Maradona

"I want to remember Diego Maradona, a very great footballer who has left us".

Rodrygo: "We have to continue working"

"I have a certain fondness for this competition. I've always dreamed of playing it and every time I've played I have a star, I score a goal or give an assist. I hope it will continue like that. The most important thing is that we don't concede any goals. We had the ball the whole game and we knew to endure well. We scored two goals and I am very happy about the victory. We have to keep working to try and win every game".
