This season, Ernesto Valverde has given the debut to up to eight players of Barcelona's youth academy.
Most of them have had a debut in games that did not prove too important, so as to familiarize themselves with the team, although many could end up leaving to either gain some experience or find another permanent home.
Indeed, the destiny of these players is not clear, although the technical team in Barça already has an ideaof the steps to follow with several names.
Riqui Puig was the most featured this season, which probably means that despite his young age, he is the one closest to finding a place in highly competitive squad.
The midfielder is one of the greatest talents of La Masia and has already commented that his intention is to continue and triumph in the Camp Nou.
Another footballer who's looking to break into the squad is Wagué. The young Senegalese winger has given a great image in the minutes he has enjoyed and next season he could be accumulating minutes to become, in the future, one of the mains wingers of Barcelona's first team.
Abel Ruiz could also be available for Valverde in the the next coursee. Barça renewed the player's contract last year and is expected to play occasionally next season to replace Suarez in some duels.
Others like Collado or Carles Pérez, the last one to debut in the first team, are very liked in Barcelona, but they still need some experience. The board will therefore be looking to transfer them to a first class team for them to get experience. In case of not finding one, according to 'Marca', they would be benched and occasionally used, although really important in Barcelona's second team.
Miranda and Chumi, meanwhile, will be departing the Catalan giants after some failures in their debuts with the first team, especially in a Copa del Rey duel against Levante. Both are available for a loan, which would be the first option for the club.
Finally, Cuenca could also momentarily leave the team with on loan to gain more experience, although his stay in the second team, in the worst case scenario, is more than guaranteed.
