The crisis that is affecting the coronavirus pandemic is hitting football hard. Valencia, whose issues have come to light, have reduced their budget to this season to 75 million euros.
As 'Marca' explained, the reduction in player's salaries has been reflected in the 119 million euros which affect the club's budget, but Valencia still have to tighten their belts even more.
If they do not want to close the year with losses, Valencia will have to sell players and make up 26.4 million euros in order to balance the books.
In the report, Valencia have said that there will be players leaving before 30th June because they need to have made a profit on selling players by 30th June.
On the other hand, as 'Plaza Deportiva' are reporting, 'Meriton Holdings', the largest shareholder at Valencia, gave a loan deal last summer to pay, for example, the wages of the players and in that agreement the rights of four players are included.
In this way, before September 2021, Valencia will have to hand back the amount if they do not want those footballers to become part of 'Meriton Holdings'.
