Antonio Valencia, formerly of Man Utd amongst other clubs, could join Queretaro for the 2021 Clausuara tournament. That is according to 'Medio Tiempo' in the last few hours.

According to 'Medio Tiempo' and other Mexican and Ecuadorian media outlets, Antonio Valencia could soon move to the Mexican League to play for Queretaro.

The latest news says that both parties are in talks so developments in the next few hours cannot be ruled out.

At 35, the former United man terminated his contract with Liga de Quito during the coronavirus stoppage and he has not played a competitive match since March.

Reports say that the arrival of his good friend Jefferson Montero is why he wants to join them.
