United's pink 2018-19 away kit 'leaked'

The pink kit, if real, would be a bold move from the club and from adidas.

The pink is rumoured to be a tribute to the 'Football Pink' section of the Manchester Evening newspaper, which was printed on light-pink paper. 

The most recent pictures make the kit look like a much paler shade of pink than earlier leaks has suggested.

The light shade of pink is similar to Palermo's home shirt, which is a favourite among fans.

The reaction on social media to the pink kit has been relatively positive, with many fans keen to buy one.

Fans will have to cough up a staggering £109.95 for the pleasure of wearing one though, the same price as the home kit.

United released their new home kit for the coming season on Tuesday, which features a striped design as a nod to their railwayman heritage.

Fans will have the choice between a replica kit and an authentic version, which is identical to the kits worn by players on match days.

For the full authentic kit, including name and number printing, fans will have to fork out £192.85.

United's kits are the most expensive in the Premier League, but prices all over have risen above £100 as clubs look to make some money with merchandise.

The away kit will be released before the new season, which kicks off on August 12, so fans will have to wait and see if the pink is real or not.
