The three players are regular performers for Portugal, and have many of Europe's biggest clubs - namely those of Manchester City, Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid, all circling to secure their services. It's for that reason that Felix has an astonishing 105 million pound release clause, with Fernandes' at 95 million and Dias' at 50million.
This would mean United spending an eye watering 250 million pounds to secure the trio. It seems unlikely that the club would sign all 3 players, but Solksjaer wants to keep his options open as he plans for his first window as United manager. The Norwegian has not been yet been appointed as permanent United manager, but he has still handed in a wishlist, with the Portuguese trio included in said list.
A player who would be siginificantly cheaper than the three Portuguese youngsters is Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint Germain, who will be a free agent at the end of the season, although he has been heavily linked to Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid.
