Manchester United does not consider its squad finalised. They would like to add a striker to give the team an edge.
And one of the favourites is Ousmane Dembélé. 'Mundo Deportivo' claims that his name is on the table for United.
The newspaper claims that United are looking for a way to get Ousmane Dembélé, the FC Barcelona striker who doesn't feature in Koeman's plans for the season.
The problem? They have already spent large amounts in this transfer market. They signed Van de Beek for 39 million and then Bruno Fernandes for another 55 million.
One option would be a loan, but neither Barca nor Dembélé are open to that. The forward would be willing to leave Nou Camp, but only if it is a permanent transfer. The Spanish club is in agreement with the player on this.
Barca wants to at least recover the investment it made in Dembélé. Therefore, United still have to find a way to convince Barcelona, since a transfer is seemingly completely out of the question.
