Few people expected Man Utd to fall behind. They had around 80% possession and were in complete control until Crystal Palace took the lead through a route one move.
The moved started with Guaita. As a result of United's high pressing, the Spanish keeper sent a long punt forward, Lindelof was too slow to react and Schlupp jumped up to head at midfield towards Ayew.
Ayew, took advantage of Lindelof's error and then Maguire's for playing him onside and that allowed the Palace man to be one on one just outside the box. David de Gea was left with no chance and Ayew slotted it to his rihgt.
That was not the only bad piece of news for United. Seconds later, Luke Shaw had to go off injured and Ashley Young had to replace him 10 minutes before the interval.
