United close to losing a sponsor
According to the paper 'Daily Mail', the company belonging to General Motors are not at all happy with what Man Utd have achieved since they appear on the club's shirts.
Everything started in 2012, although the logo was not seen until 2014. Chevrolet signed for close to 55 million pounds per season until 2021 and everything seems to indicate that the agreement will not end up being renewed.
The motor company, the paper reports, believe that the agreement was for too much money and that it is curse "due to the lack of success the Red Devils have had.
As things stand, Woodward is now looking for new brands for the club which is one of the clubs which gets the most amount of money for sponsorship in recent years.
Since Chevrolet sponsored them, they have won a Europa League, a FA Cup, a Carabao Cup and a Community Shield.
