PSG and Real Madrid will face off on 15th February at the Parc des Princes, a stadium which, in addition, could be a full house due to the relaxing of the restrictions by the French Government.
Benzema, who will be available providing he does not get injured or COVID, told 'Telefoot' that he would have preferred a different opponent and admitted that "unfortunately" they will have to face them.
"It's a Champions League match and it's exciting. We know that Champions League matches are always difficult, although I would've liked to play against a different team," Benzema commented.
The French striker insisted that "unfortunately" they have got PSG. However, he said that it would be a "special match", especially given the rumours and the relationship Benzema has with Mbappe.
"It will be more than special we got on very well with each other and for many other things. It's going to be a great contest," he concluded.
Neymar could well be back for the first leg. The Brazilian is continuing to work hard to make sure he has fully recovered in time for the knockout clash.
