It was during the first half. It was pouring down in Vigo, but there was a good crowd in attendance at Balaidos because the Celta faithful are confident their side can stay up this season. One of the spectators, due to the strong winds, lost his or her's umbrella and it ended up striking Theo.
In the 37th minute, the match was stopped. The players were incredulous because an umbrella had landed on the pitch and it was rolling around uncontrollably. It even hit Theo Hernandez.
Had a fan thrown it? It did not seem that way because it was open. It seems like the strong winds which accompanied the incessant rain caused the incident at the Balaidos.
Somebody lost their umbrella and it made the referee stop the game. Seconds later, the game resumed with a drop ball.
