Two Real Sociedad players test positive for COVID-19

The positive cases continue to grow in Spanish football. Real Sociedad were the latest team to join them after the tests that the "txuri-urdin first team, along with coaches and employees of the club, sat on Friday", the side informed.

The club communicated on Saturday afternoon two positives in the squad, although they didn't reveal what players they are.

The players, according to Real Sociedad in their statement, "are already isolated in their respective homes and will be subjected to a new PCR test in the coming days".

The club also wanted to emphasise that the relevant authorities are already aware of this situation and recalled that, according to the protocol of LaLiga, "team training has started individually".

Lastly, Real Sociedad informed that the negatives will undergo a new test on Monday.
