Tuchel's salary at Bayern revealed

On Friday, Bayern Munich announced that they were parting ways with manager Julian Nagelsmann, who was initially under contract until 2026. This came after a very average patch of results in the Bundesliga (five wins, two losses and three draws), as well as due to the fact they gifted rivals Dortmund the top spot after losing 2-1 to Leverkusen last Sunday.

Just one day later, former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was named as his replacement, and the German will be thrown in at the deep end when he takes charge of his first game with the German side against table-topping rivals Borussia Dortmund. 

In terms of the nitty gritty details of the new man's contract, the German media have been reporting that the former PSG boss will be earning between €10 million and €12 million per year which would mean he would be outdoing his predecessor Nagelsmann. 

This healthy sum would see him earn at least €20 million overall due to him signing a contract until 2025 with the German side. Therefore, Munich fans will be hoping their side get their money's worth with their man, and that he can lead them to league and cup glories.
