The French press have reported that recent happenings at PSG have turned the dressing room upside down. The team have only managed to win Ligue 1 this season, something that is practically a given considering the strength of their squad, and discontent is mounting in the capital.
'L'Èquipe' have revealed that the future of manager Thomas Tuchel is now in serious doubt after a disappointing season that also saw them knocked out the Champions League by Manchester United.
As well as being in the firing line for not having won any cup competitions this season, word in France is suggesting that there has been a total breakdown in Tuchel's relationship with his players. The German took the blame for the cup final loss, however, stating that the defeat was "my responsibility".
It is reported that multiple players have fallen out with the coach, giving him little room for manouevre and leaving his job hanging by a thread. If the situation does not change before June, all signs are pointing towards a change in management.
Tuchel could therefore be enjoying his last few weeks as manager of the perennial Ligue 1 champions. Only five games remain this season - all in a league that they have already won. The game against Reims on 25th May could be the last time he sits in the dugout as PSG boss.
