The exceptional campaign of Giovani Lo Celso at Real Betis has led to significant interest from several leading European clubs.
Lo Celso scored 16 goals this season without being a forward, but it was his football, more than his numbers that have truly convinced these clubs to show interest.
Diario de Sevilla has said that Tottenham are the first team to show serious interest in the Argentine, with the Champions League finalists offering 60 million euros, almost three times as much as Betis paid for the player, but still a long way from being considered an acceptable amount by the Sevila based club.
It must be remembered that Lo Celso has a release clause of 100 million euros, with clubs who are needing some new talent, such as Manchester United not seemingly put off by the enormous fee.
His permanent arrival from Real Betis from PSG would entitle PSG to 20% of any future transfer.
