Tottenham reject Barca's proposal with Coutinho
Philippe Coutinho will leave Barcelona. At least that is Barcelona's intention, who are offering him to various teams. One of them is Tottenham, who have rejected Barcelona's first proposals.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the club managed by José Mourinho want to sign the Brazilian on loan. Barca proposed the option of a payment of around 10 million euros, but the London club have rejected it.
It must be remembered that Coutinho went out on loan to Bayern Munich this season. The Bavarian side paid 8.5 million euros for the loan plus full payment of his clause.
Barcelona are looking for cash to alleviate the club's difficult accounts. Barcelona need to sell if they don't want to touch the first team's wages again.
Coutinho looks favourably on playing in the Premier League next season. He was already close to signing for Tottenham, according to Kia Joorabchian, one of his agents, but the negotiations broke down because of a financial issue, according to 'Mundo Deportivo'.
