Daniel Levy, the president of the London club, isn't beating around the bush. There have been more than a few rumours about a possible interest from Real Madrid for Harry Kane, considered a replacement for Karim Benzema, and the man at the helm of the club does not want to remain impassive towards the situation.
The striker sits along side Mauro Icardi on the list of targets to reinforce Madrid's front-line but, from the get-go, negotiating with 'Spurs' has not appeared to be an easy task.
With regards to the aforementioned media, an agent who is supposedly working on Real Madrid's behalf has travelled to London to get the low-down on Kane's situation at Tottenham.
Levy, responding to the agent's interest, prepared a response with two clear messages. He is prepared to sell his biggest star, but he will only to it for a dizzying sum of money. His price for the English international: €350 million!
The 'Spurs' chief knows what he is doing. He previously negotiated a mouth-watering fee for Gareth Bale, with his €100m sale of the Welsh star to Madrid in 2013 being a landmark moment in football transfer business.
However, it seems like the London club could face an impossible battle to keep their star asset who continued his prolific goalscoring form by netting the winner in the North London derby on Saturday to secure all three points for Tottenham.
