Totteham have made an initial offer of €9 million for Roma forward Antonio Sanabria.
The 20-year-old, who came up through Barcelona's youth academy, had an impressive season on loan at Sporting Gijon from the Serie A side last season, scoring 11 goals in 29 La Liga appearances.
It was revealed earlier in the week that the Paraguay international had snubbed a move to the Emirates in favour of one to White Hart Lane, and now it appears as though Tottenham are even closer to signing him.
This initial offer is below the €15 million price tag the Giallorossi have placed on his head, so it is expected that Spurs will have to come back with an improved offer before securing his services.
