Lionel Messi seems not to have always had a clear plan for his career at Barcelona. So said Roura in an interview given to 'Radio Kanal Barcelona'.
The coach spoke about a meeting between Vilanova the then boss, and the Argentine star who remembered Tito at the helm, and had not decided his future.
"It's true that Leo wasn't sure if he was going to continue. It is true that this meeting took place. I was not there, they were talking for many hours and it is also true that I do not know what was said," said Roura.
"What is true is that he changed his approach and, fortunately for Barcelona, Messi decided to continue here," he added, about what would be the last and priceless service of Vilanova to the club.
Roura took the opportunity to remember the late coach: "There has been much talk of how it was. He was a simple person, direct, with a lot of personality, who went face to face and in a professional squad and that made him special.
"I always say that we are romantic. We are from Barça and Tito lived with a tough situation in the distance and the professionalism was unquestionable. He will always have his work remembered within the club", he concluded
